VOTING INSTRUCTIONS
A “Limited Proxy” is attached for those who cannot attend the meeting. It is essentially an “absentee ballot” and if given to the Board of Directors, will be cast as you direct on the proxy. The proxy must be signed by the person authorized to cast the vote for the Unit. The members of the Association are entitled to one (1) vote for each Unit owned. The vote of Unit is not divisible. If a Unit is owned jointly by two or more natural persons, that Unit’s vote may be cast by any of the record owners. If two or more owners of a Unit do not agree among themselves how their one vote shall be cast, that vote shall not be counted for any purpose. If the Owner of a Unit is a corporation, partnership, trust or other entity other than a natural person, the vote of that Unit shall be cast by any officer, director, partner or trustee, as the case may be. The proxy should be submitted to the Association prior to the scheduled time of the meeting. The Association prefers that original signed proxies be received before the meeting. Proxies may be hand-delivered or mailed to the Association at: 3106 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL, 33952. Florida law does permit the use of facsimile or electronic transmission for proxies. If you wish to send the proxy by e-mail, please scan your completed proxy, attach it in PDF® or other readily utilized format, and you can e-mail it to: [email protected].
